After no posts for ages, here are two in one week. I just wanted to pop in to say that my new tea towels have arrived and I am so pleased with them. They are made in the UK (Manchester), and they are printed on lovely thick, natural coloured organic cotton. They have a hanging loop on the back. I have two designs, Allotment and Cutting Garden. They are £12 each plus £3 p&p.
I only have a very limited amount, and I have already sold quite a few, so if you would like one, please let me know. I will be doing another order, but they take a month or so to come through. There is a chance to win one on my Instagram account this week, along with a beautiful book, Herb/A Cooks Companion by Mark Diacono (Hardie Grant). The book is a compendium of herb growing advice, with everything from sage, rosemary, tarragon and thyme to salad burnet, sorrel and spicy shiso, as well as lots of gorgeous recipes. Herb tempura. Lavender and lemon meringues, dill, lemon and green bean pilaf, plus lots of lovely vinegars, syrups and pickles. Sorry, but this is UK only competition.
If you don’t have Instagram, send me an email fionacumberpatch0@gmail.com and I will add your name to the draw, which takes place on Tuesday May 24 at 8pm.
I am so excited to see my designs on a textile.
And here’s a shot of them in full….
