I have a new tea towel design which has been causing ripples on Twitter! I hope to have this one available in six to seven weeks. It will be printed on the same natural, organic cotton as my other tea towels. I put a photo on Twitter one evening, as it’s interesting to gauge reactions and see which designs are popular. My phone pinged 700 times in one night and I’ve had so many lovely messages, emails and pre-orders, so I think this one is a must. Drop me a line if you’d like to reserve one, fionacumberpatch0@gmail.com
I’ve used my Japanese watercolours to get the intense, punchy colours that I love, and I’ve chosen some of my favourite flowers (although admittedly the choice was a bit limited when I got to the letters U, V and X. No issues with Z, as zinnias are one of my favourites and I have grown some beauties this year.
My cutting garden continues to inspire me with its beauty. Here are a few shots from my last visit.
I’m so pleased that dahlia season has begun! I never quite know what I’m getting, but apart from a few unwanted harsh yellow ones, everything is looking pretty rosy.
Sorting out the vases, and filling them with my favourites when I get home from a gardening session is always a pleasure.
