Vintage nature journal

A small, soft backed nature book, The Ramblers Pocket Guide, published in the 1940s to authorised economy standards by W Foulsham and Co. 

It is perfect for adding in  your own illustrations in watercolour, pen or crayon, in sections with titles such as Wild Fruits, Birds, Ferns and Horsetails, Fungi and Butterflies. It measures just 10cm by 15cm, so it’s perfect for art on the go. 

There are some wonderful colour plates featuring birds eggs and butterflies, as well as black and white drawings of fish, grasses and trees, but there is plenty of room to create your own additions.
